Privacy policy
What we collect, why, who helps us run Reelify, and how to get your data deleted. In short: your videos are private to your account. We never sell them or use them to train AI.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and to write to you about your account.
- The videos, photos, screenshots, clips, logos and music you upload, and what we make from them: transcripts, cuts, edit plans and finished reels.
- Your brand kits and the changes you ask for.
- Your plan, your credit history and your payments. Card details go to our payment provider, not to us.
- Basic technical records, like errors and when a reel was processed, to keep Reelify working and safe.
How we use it
Only to run Reelify for you: to sign you in, turn your videos into reels, keep your credits right, take payments and answer your emails. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your videos or reels to train AI.
Who helps us
A few services do parts of the work. Each gets only what it needs for its job:
- Hosting, database and file storage: keeps your account and your files.
- An AI service: reads your transcript and frames from your video to plan the edit and design the graphics.
- A speech-to-text service: turns your voice into a timed transcript for the cuts and captions.
- Email delivery: sends your sign-in links.
- Payments: takes card payments and keeps billing records.
Some of these services may process data in other countries.
Who can see your videos
Only you, when you're signed in. Your files are stored privately, and the links the app uses to show them expire after an hour. We look at an account's files only when you ask us to help with a problem, or when the law requires it.
The desktop app
In the Reelify app for your computer, your videos, photos, clips and finished reels stay on your computer. We don't store them. We store only your account, your edits and your messages with the director.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also remembers a few settings, like light or dark mode. No ad or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your account and your files while your account is open.
To delete your account, email [support email] from the address you sign in with. We delete your account, your files and your reels within 30 days. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires.
You can also ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, at the same address. Your reels can be downloaded from the app at any time.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you first.
